Alerts that get through

Drop alerts are marked Time Sensitive, so they can break through Focus modes and notification summaries. A drop won't sit in a pile until tonight.

New dates, announced

Follow an artist and Pounce tells you when they add dates near you, or anywhere if you'd rather, so you can track them from the start.

Drop history

Before you track a show, see its drops from the last 7 days, day by day. It appears on shows we've already been checking.

Price cap

Set a ceiling and anything above it stays silent. Included with Pro and the Show Pass.

Section filters

Floor only, lower bowl only, whatever you'd actually sit in. Included with Pro and the Show Pass.

Nothing to connect

What Pounce won't claim.

Alert apps lose people by overpromising. Here is exactly where our limits are.

    We can't see every seat.

    Our seat counts are a floor, never a total. A release can be bigger than the number we confirmed, which is why we say “at least” and never “only”.

  2. 02

    We can't promise you'll get in.

    We tell you when seats appear. What happens next is between you and the ticket site, and anyone selling you a guarantee is selling something they don't have.

    We're not the box office.

    Pounce is independent. We aren't affiliated with any venue, promoter, artist or ticketing company, and we never handle your ticket or your money.

What do I get for joining early access?
You'll hear first when Pounce launches on the App Store. Leave your email and we'll send you a note the day it's ready to download. We only email you about the launch, and you can unsubscribe from any email.
What actually is a ticket restock?
A sold-out show is rarely as sold out as it looks. Seats get held back while the production is still being planned, and once the stage is built and the layout is final, the ones that can be sold are released, often a few at a time. Carts that expire without checkout put a few more back. All of it goes back on sale on the official site, with no announcement and no email, and it usually goes to whoever hears first.
Do you need my ticketing account login?
No, and we never will. Pounce doesn't ask for a ticketing account, can't sign in as you, and holds no card details for ticket purchases. It watches public listings and sends you a notification. You buy the seats yourself, in your own account.
Will I definitely get tickets?
No. We'd rather say that plainly than let you find out later. Pounce gets you to the event page as fast as it can. Whether the seats are still there when you arrive depends on how fast you move and who else is watching.
How much faster are Pro and the Show Pass, really?
Free alerts arrive up to 10 minutes later. Pro and Show Pass alerts go out the moment we see a drop. A Free alert says how long ago the seats appeared, so you know they may already be gone. Whether that gap matters depends on the show, but seats that come back usually go to whoever hears first.
Should I get Pro or a Show Pass?
If there is one show you can't miss, the Show Pass makes that show's alerts instant and adds price and section filters, for a single payment. It doesn't count toward your 2 free shows, doesn't renew, and ends once the show has happened. If you go to a lot of shows, Pro covers up to 10 at a time, monthly or yearly, until you cancel.
Which shows can I track?
Concerts and live events across Canada and the US. Search for an artist to see their upcoming dates and track the shows you want. Follow an artist to hear about new dates near you, or anywhere if you'd rather. If a show is one Pounce can't check, the app tells you instead of leaving you waiting.
Is Pounce on Android?
Not yet. Pounce is launching on iPhone first, and Android is planned after that.
Is Pounce a reseller?
No. We don't sell, resell, hold or touch tickets, and we take no cut of your purchase. Pounce is an alerting tool. The price cap exists specifically so you can filter out inflated listings rather than be pushed toward them.
Does it drain my battery?
No. The watching happens on our servers, not on your phone. Pounce is not running in the background, polling, or holding your screen awake. Your device does nothing until a notification arrives.
